As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Coordinator (Occupational Health) based in Sandton, South Africa. The Clinical Coordinator (Occupational Health) assumes responsibility for the coordination, provision, and establishment of occupational health services for client’s satellite employees leading to capacity planning across DSP and mobile services to ensure the promotion, protection, and restoration of the employee’s health within a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the support of the management of the Occupational Health call center and Occupational Health and Travel Clinics.
Assists in the planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of medical services for client employees with emphasis on quality of care, continuity of services, and cost-effectiveness under administrative direction of the Operations Support Manager.
This includes the coordination of all functions and activities related to the clinical governance and quality management system in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and accreditation bodies, through the leadership of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
Registered Nurse with a valid SANC registration
Post basic qualification in Occupational health
Intermediate computer skills
At least 5 years’ experience in Occupational Health
2 years management experience
Bilingualism
Sound Occupational Health knowledge, quality improvement programmes and the ability to conduct & interpret audit reports
Willing to travel
Salary is market related
