As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) based in East London, South Africa. The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) is to deliver expert safe, competent and person-centred quality nursing and clinical care, to provide quality assurance and ensure execution on prescribed treatment plans within the clinical units in the most cost effective and efficient way. The incumbent will act as a clinical resource and a leader for all nursing and clinical related functions performed within the clinic.
Responsibilities:
The planning, sourcing, delivery and co-ordination of competent, quality nursing care.
Support and supervise less experienced staff, acts as a preceptor for new staff, and assists in the clinical teaching of other staff.
Contributes to the ongoing research, development and review of best practice in nursing and clinical related functions.
Provides leadership in all clinical situations, and
Acts as an influential role model for best professional practice
Requirements:
You must be registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
Relevant Clinical experience post qualification in the private sector.
1 – 2 Years’ experience in a leadership role
Salary is market related
