The Client

Our client is a leading and trusted NDIS provider based in Sydney, offering services across Western Sydney, The Hills District, and the Upper North Shore. They specialize in matching 1:1 support workers with clients, providing assistance in the home or community. Their programs are designed to promote independence, social skills, and everyday living skills, tailored to meet individual needs and goals. 


The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lead/ Senior Occupational Therapist to join a compassionate and innovative disability services provider in Sydney. This role is centered around providing exceptional support to NDIS participants, promoting their independence, social inclusion, and overall quality of life. The position offers a blend of clinical expertise, mentorship, and program development, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about leadership and making a meaningful impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised occupational therapy services in clinic, home, community, and Telehealth settings to clients across all age groups.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and client-centered care.

  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and carers to promote independence.

  • Mentor and support experienced and graduate staff, ensuring evidence-based practices.

  • Contribute to program development and ensure alignment with NDIS requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and timely client documentation, reports, and records.


What Will I Need?

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.

  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with strong skills in clinical supervision.

  • Passion for working within the disability sector and delivering evidence-based interventions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, families, and stakeholders.

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification, NDIS Worker Check, and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

  • Valid NSW driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
