The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Midwife for our clients maternity service that provides primary and secondary care to women. This is hands-on midwifery work; each hospital usually sees around 600 births a year, ranging from normal and low-risk to complex and high-needs. You’ll provide ward-based antenatal and postnatal care, and attend births. There’s also a certain amount of administration work, with admissions, discharges, and patient notes, and you might sometimes need to accompany patients to larger tertiary hospitals.


What will I need?

  • be a Registered Midwife

  • hold a current annual practicing certificate

  • have excellent communication and the ability to easily build rapport with people from all walks of life

  • be passionate about midwifery and have a real desire to provide the best care possible.
